All the battles have been fought, but it's not yet time to die
All the secrets have been revealed, the mysteries all unlocked
The characters find their peace, the plot becomes unblocked
The spotlight is shining, resolution’s now in sight
The Loose ends will be tied up, everything will be made right
Every story must have an end, a resolution, a final bend
When the energy has all been spent, Denouement, the final event
It's the final chapter, the last page in your book
But it's really not the end, just a chance to take a look
This journey's been a long one, but you’ made it to the end
With the Denouement complete, our hearts and souls can mend.
With your book now closed, others will move on
They’ll be writing their own story, with a message and memory, to atone
Soon it will be their turn, to conclude, to adjourn
And their final event will be, unique to them alone
